Outdoor Exposure Test System

Outdoor exposure testing system’s test purpose include: (1) obtaining data on material durability and lifetimes at a number of representative locations; (2) understanding why materials degrade at different rates at different test sites; (3) correlating in-service measurements with accelerated life testing results and subsequently making quantitative predictions of material service lifetimes; and (4) validating damage function models derived from accelerated exposure tests.

Outdoor exposure test

1. Technical Parameter
1) Test items: Initial stabilization, outdoor exposure test, etc.
2) Micro-inverter (MPPT maximum power tracking):
Quantity: 4 sets (can be used for initial stabilization, outdoor exposure testing)
Individual power: 700W
Maximum power point tracking range: 25V-60V
Operating voltage range: 25V-60V
Maximum DC input voltage: 60V
Startup voltage: 22V
Maximum DC input current: 25A

2. Irradiance sensor (solar total irradiance meter):
Quantity: 1 set
Measurement spectral range: 285~2800nm
Measurement range: 0~2000W/m^-2
Sensitivity: 7~14µW/m^-2
Time response: ≤2s (99%)
Internal resistance: ≒350Ω
Stability: ±2%
Cosine: ≤±5%
Spectral range: 0.27~3.0µm
Temperature characteristic: ±5%

3. Temperature test accessories and software functionality:
Module temperature channels: 8 channels
Temperature sensor: accuracy ±2°C or better
Software: automatically collect module temperature at different parts, ambient temperature, irradiance, wind speed; data export to Excel

4. Fixed angle PV mounting structure (non-adjustable angle):
Capacity: 4 modules of 1.4m, total designed length is approximately 6m

5. Initial stabilization, outdoor exposure test software functionality:
For the initial stabilization test, the accumulated irradiance reaches 5 or 10KW·h/m2, and the buzzer prompts automatically.
For the outdoor exposure test, the accumulated irradiance reaches 60KW·h/m2, and the buzzer prompts automatically.
Accumulated irradiance: can be set in different test software, buzzer prompts after reaching the dose

6. Site construction and installation (outdoor control room to be built by the user):
Outdoor or indoor electrical control cabinet: 1 set
On-site construction, cable, cable tray, and bracket procurement: using 2.5mm2 two-core PV cables, 1.5mm2
